Why Choose This Course
CompTIA AutoOps+ is a new certification focused on the skills to automate, secure, and optimize IT operations across cloud and hybrid environments. The first version launches in June 2026 and is part of CompTIA’s Expansion Series, designed to add specialised automation capability on top of core IT experience.
This instructor-led training course follows the official exam objectives. You learn to write, test and maintain automation scripts using variables, functions and loops; manage code with Git branching and semantic versioning; and apply infrastructure as code principles such as idempotency, immutability and reusability. You also study system configuration at scale, configuration drift and state enforcement, and perform CRUD operations against RESTful APIs while troubleshooting common issues such as certificate or communication failures.
CompTIA recommends two to three years of experience in a core IT operations role (for example network, cloud or systems administration). Background knowledge equivalent to Network+, Linux+, Cloud+ or Server+ is considered helpful. This course is built for practitioners who want exam‑aligned content and hands‑on practice that transfers to day‑to‑day operations in modern enterprises, without making absolute claims about outcomes. A certificate of course attendance is included.
